Financial Distribution: Automatically calculate and track how revenue is distributed between the practice and individual nurses. Admin fees, self-invoicing, payout tracking-all handled transparently.
Patient Observations: Nurses can record and track patient observations directly in the system. No more paper notes getting lost or illegible handwriting.

Florence in the Nurse’s Pocket
A home nurse spends the day in a car and in other people’s living rooms. A web backoffice is the wrong shape for that, so Florence got a native iPhone app, built in SwiftUI on top of the same production API. No second backend, no separate data.
It is deliberately a nurse’s app, not an admin’s. The things you need between two front doors, and nothing else.
The day, at a glance: how many of today’s visits are already done, the shift you’re on, the next patients coming up, and anything unread in chat.
Agenda: your own schedule, a day at a time, swipe forward and back. Read-only by design - nurses consult, planners plan.
Patient file: tap a visit and you get the patient. Date of birth, GP, pharmacist, notes, and the part that matters at the door: the medication schema.
Chat: the same Matrix rooms as the web app, with text, photos and voice messages. Voice notes are transcribed on the phone itself using Apple’s on-device speech recognition, so the audio never leaves the device. Only when the phone can’t do it does it fall back to the server.
Calling: the app registers to the practice’s phone system as the logged-in nurse and places calls directly, over the practice’s own number. The patient sees the practice, not a private mobile. Call history and a dialler are in the app.
Offline: chat history and media are cached on disk. Rooms open instantly and stay readable in a cellar, a lift, or a village with no signal.
Push: notifications arrive through APNs when something needs the nurse’s attention.
Security is handled the way healthcare demands: the long-lived refresh token lives in the iOS Keychain, the short-lived access token exists only in memory, and accounts with two-factor enabled get the second step in the app. The same codebase also runs as a real Mac application through Mac Catalyst, for nurses who’d rather do the paperwork half of the job at a desk.
